Who is this training for?

This programme is for professionals who already help improve how work gets done but haven’t had formal training in AI or automation yet. Typical learners work in operations, finance, customer service, HR, IT, marketing, or project delivery.

You don’t need an AI or coding background. The focus is on practical application rather than technical specialisation.

Current role involves working with data regularly

Aged 16+ (no upper age limit)

Able to commit to a minimum of 6 hours of off-the-job training per week

Blended learning with 7 practical projects

Future-proofed curriculum

Self-paced, 100% online

Flexible learning that works for you

The programme is designed to run alongside a full-time role, with just 6 hours per week of guided learning. You’ll study online, at your own pace, with clear milestones to keep you moving forward.

From day one, you’ll have a personal tutor for regular 1-to-1 check-ins, plus access to 150+ industry mentors who review your work and help you apply what you’re learning to real situations.

Automate repetitive tasks

If your day is filled with manual updates or repetitive admin, this programme helps you change that. By investing a few hours each week, you’ll learn to identify tasks worth automating and build AI-supported workflows that save time.

Apply AI tools with purpose

You’ll learn how to understand the limits of AI tools and keep human oversight where it matters. Through hands-on projects reviewed 1-to-1 by technical mentors, you’ll practise spotting risks and applying AI in secure and responsible ways.

Gain a recognised qualification

On completion, you’ll earn a nationally recognised Level 4 AI & Automation Practitioner qualification, worth £18,000. More importantly, you’ll build practical skills that make you more effective and more valuable in your role.

Core modules

01

AI Literacy

You’ll start by building a practical understanding of how modern AI works, where it falls short, and how to use it responsibly in a professional setting.

02

No Code AI Applications

You’ll learn to apply AI and automation to everyday work using accessible no-code tools to reduce manual effort and improve consistency.

03

Low Code AI Applications

As your confidence grows, you’ll move into low-code approaches that allow more flexibility and control, while maintaining oversight and security.

Optional modules

Optional modules let you go deeper into areas such as image generation, multimodal AI tools, and AI-supported communication and presentation. Completing optional modules can also reduce future off-the-job training requirements for related apprenticeships, supporting efficient progression.

End Point Assessment (EPA)

The programme finishes with an independent End Point Assessment (EPA). You’ll present a portfolio of projects and complete scenario-based tasks to demonstrate your competence. By this stage, you’ll already have applied your skills on the job and delivered tangible improvements. The EPA simply formalises that impact. Passing earns the nationally recognised Level 4 AI & Automation Practitioner qualification.
